    has anyone in here used the e-file deal on the irs site yet?
    i got a thing in the mail telling me to efile
    and that it was so fun and easy and ill get my money quicker

    well ive spent the past hour on their site with no results
    except that i can pay some other tax site to efile for me

    i already did my own damned preparing
    i just want to get on the site punch a few numbers in and be done

    can anyone show me the light?

    yes.

    the irs can't afford to deal with programming.
    a lot of other comanies have popped up offering software to use.
    soime for a fee, some NOT.

    look for one that allows you to use it for free.
    it will state the conditions esxplicitly, such as..

    free if youearned between 20,000 and 50,000
    or free if you earned less than 33,333.

    if you earned a lot, it may be hard to find a site that will allow you to use their shit free.

    i did use it.
    i picked one (whose conditions i met) pretty much at random.
    it was easy, and fast.
