It was about finishing the exams at the end of my forced education in England.. For those of you not in the know, here is a basic run down on what happenes if you go to an English School... - "secondary" school starts at age 11 and goes through to 18. - Schooling is compulsory till you are a minimum age of 16... - ...which is coincedently the same age you finish GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education). Basically, you cant pass "go" and move on to the next stage of education without having to do these. I think the average number of subjects which pupils take, across the country, is between 10 - 12. -After you do these you go on and have another 2 years of exams, AS levels (aged 17) and then Alevels a year after that. - Then your done. Now, i get my results tomorrow (wait, its actually today) but i am, at an understatement, BRICKING IT! I know i need a minimum of a D in each subject, but I have my doubts about my performance :D Should i manage it, i can go and study my passion of Media at university, away from my shitty life here. Anywho, the point of this thread is to tell of the shittyness that comes about the night before you get the results of something important. The nervousness, the anticipation, the ultimate let down... plus, any tips on how to sleep ould rock... im going to be rocking the beer + spliff option myself... Sneaks / shitting it. Rawr.
