fermentor666 Posted June 20, 2006 Share Posted June 20, 2006 Quake 1 then Doom 1 and 2 (equals) then Golden Axe then Call of Duty 2 (yes, it's that good) then Grand Theft Auto 1 (the top-down pixel-heaven game on the PC from 1998) - First game that really let you explore an entire, fully-populated and exceptionally detailed city entirely at your own will. Only thing that came close to that were FPS games and once you killed everything, they were no longer populated (with the possible exception of Jedi Knight). theeeeeenn Tetris then Minesweeper then Arkenoid then Metasquares (old AOL game that was horribly addictive, I became a mod for it and then AOL dropped it and it vanished, forever?) then Ultima: Runes of Virtue I and II (Gameboy, jesus I love those two games) then Strider, maybe.
