tag style font........

  3. I've come across some fonts of that kind in those free-font supersites...i cant remember a link but they're crappy anyway. If you want just a word or two, write it yourself, scan it and use it.

    I cant see 'graffiti style handwritting' standing up for full text.

    I downloaded a program that allows you to make your own fonts. It could come in handy. Plus it will give your work some originality. Too bad I've had it for 2 years and only made one crappy practice font cause I was too lazy to edit some of the letters and do more scanning.

    the amount of work that goes into making a good typeface is pretty rediculous..

    graffiti "fonts" will never look like graffiti because letters need to interact with each other in a certian way that a computer can't duplicate..

    to do a proper graffiti font, the kerning table alone would be some sick shit

    jurassic 5 used to have some font on their website called "brooklyn kid". i dont know where it is now, do a search or some shit

    graff fonts will only work if you and the person u are talking with has the font

    write it yourself and scan it in. i have never
    seen a decent handstyle font ever..
    even if it's more than a couple words..

    "brooklyn kid" is always a good cue to leave whatever page im on as soon as it shows its ugly head.

    this is the answer on why they look funny all the time.

    if you dont know about kerning, take this guys word for it ... it would take months and months to get the font working smoothly.
