Fridays are always a reason to celebrate (if you wk 5 days a week) Tonight i might go to my friend's gallery or out to eat, nothing special b/c tomarrow i gotts to wake up early to see Jane Goodall give a lecture about the conservation of chimps (i'm really excited). Then i plan to be a dorky housewife and make apple crisp with vanilla ice cream, late night hanging out with the boyfriend. Sunday I plan to paint all damn day. I love having days off. Oh, and tomb raider 2 sucked (the plot at least). Angelina sure was eye candy tho. If you have the chance, see Lost in Translation (i know it isn't an option). I mean Tomb Raider 2 has been out of the theaters for months here. But know the kind of guy teaseract is.... it's probably an arthouse / rep cinema. I love Bill Murray in his dry humor roles (rushmore, royal tenenbaums). I was rolling at the part when that japanese girl came in trying to get him to lick her stocking. And that brings me to Kilo's question...Hollywood flicks are released later here depending on the US box office success or failure. If the movie is bangin' in the states it comes here, if its a total failure it goes directly to DVD/VHS. On the flipside, all the 'indie' american films are released in Europe first, then states..example: GhostDog. Plus we got all the euroflicks to catch up to.
