suggestions on places to look for a job?

    i have searched locally downtown and have had no luck. i live in a somewhat small city so it is hard to find a job. i was just wondeirng if any of you maybe had any suggestions?

    isn't there a gov't type place you can go to apply for a job? i'm not really knowledgable on this.

    just ask every friend, family member and friends of family members.
    Otherwise you're getting a McJob unless you've got a great resume
    (which bet you dont).

    Temp agencies can screw you over because the compnay will pay a few
    dollars of your hard earned money to them and you get near minimum.

    yeah im in the same situation, welcome to the club. there should be a place called the employment office, i guess its run by the state, and you go in and give them your information and shit, and they call you when something comes up

    what you need to do is enquire about "work experience" work for free for a little while to bulk up your resume, and usually what happens is you end up working at the place you did work experience at, when you do work experience kiss as much ass as possible and work yourhardest.

    with job hunting, persistence is the key

    yea, pump up your resume.........i just added "International Buisness Trips for company" to mine, and im 19 years old, i dont know is this too much?

    employers see right through exagerated BS,

    an employer was telling me one time that people who bullshit in their resumes are likely to bullshit in there everyday work,
