Chiquita International is planning a range of new

flavours because it reckons bananas are

becoming boring.

It hopes the new range will command premium

prices and draw in a new range of customers,

reports Sky News.

The firm is refusing to say how the bananas will

be changed, only that they will not be genetically

modified.

Chief executive Fernando Aguirre said: "I have

seen about eight and tasted four or five different

types.

"Now we need to find out from consumers if this

is relevant and whether it is something they would like to see and be willing to pay for."

The Cincinatti-based company plans to test the

new, fruity flavours in Europe and America during

the next year.

Not in the works however is the banana flavored

strawberry, a much better sell for our coutry of

homophobes.

The Grapple Story...

In the heart of the world's finest apple country, Wenatchee Washington, a new method for enhancing the natural flavor of apples was created.

The owners of C&O Nursery, the Snyder family, have provided apple growers with the finest apple varieties in the world for 98 years. The Grapple is a product of the Snyder's innovation and commitment to introducing exciting varieties that you will want

to share with your friends and family.

The Grapple is a Washington State Extra Fancy Fuji apple. This is the only apple that currently meets the strict Grapple standards. The Fuji is bathed through a patented process and in a few days the entire apple takes on the essence and mouth-watering taste of Concord grapes. The combination is outstanding.

for the novely of it all.

and also i think the texture would change the whole experience of eating strawberries/bannanas because it wouldnt be juicy like a strawberry it would be soft and dry like a a bannana.

translation: for the novelty of it all.
