misteraven
in the interest of trying to create something (hopefully) worth reading, as well as (hopefully) something people can laugh about... i introduce the SPAM super thread. i have no idea if this has been done here before, but fuck it, i got some spam this morning that made me laugh so i'm sharing. i figured we could use a new thread or two on ehere, so hopefully this will be a good one. at the very least it be nice to get something in return for having to put up with all the bazillions of spam messages that get sent to everyone. so on that note, share your favorite spam... Harvey Wallbanger
Awesome. That was infinitely better than any spam I ever get. This is probably the best I've gotten. + --------- copy from here --------- + Dear Friends, I have just read and signed the online petition: "Back to the Future NIKE sneakers" hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com, the free online petition service, at: http://www.PetitionOnline.com/future2/ I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider signing yourself. Best wishes, ************* + --------- down to here ---------- + + paste into your own email, & send + A note along those lines, sent from you to your friends, can make an especially effective contribution to the petition. A successful petition is a grassroots collaborative effort, and now it's your turn. The power of the Internet is in your hands -- so spread the word! In fact, now that I've checked it out, this petition seems sign-worthy. Does that still count as spam?

ODS-1
I never get anything real funny. But I got an email from a "nigerian banker" not too long ago.
Herbivore
I don't even open spam. Lately I've been getting IM spam, which is quite possibly the most annoying thing ever. I get IMs from people with names like 'xc7w88gfs2' advertising web sites and other crap... and there's no use in blocking them, because it's a different screenname every time. I get at least 3 or 4 of them every day. Stupid spammers.

Guest im not witty
got this today. made me laugh. i guess they are trying to get around some kind of filter, seems rather bizarre. the subject was "start making bootycalls" to single http://crisomen.com/gravityofthenewmilleni...hered/penny.htm women right now The four gyroscopes in GP-B are the most perfect spheres ever made by humans. These ping pong-sized balls of fused quartz and silicon are 1.5 inches across and never vary from a perfect sphere by more than 40 atomic layers. If the gyroscopes weren't so spherical, their spin axes would wobble even without the effects of relativity. f a degree. To measure this angle reasonably well, GP-B needed a fantastic precision of 0.0005 arcseconds. It's like measuring the thickness of a sheet of paper held edge-on 100 miles away. pix. pat ors sad. imp ef dad. sea ZZZ shh. jet chi. AND cha nth. gio sei pho. hox. mindvapors
i just recently ended an email convo between me and a 'phisher' - sum guy stating he needed a business partner in order to get money out of his counrty that wouldnt allow him to have it because it was actually his clients money who was in the Iraq war, but him and his whole family (for sm reason the soldiers whole family was with him?) died. anyways, i took the bait and pretended to be quite interested in his offer and watnot. but a few emails later i ended up finding out more info about him on the interwebs and sent him a picture of 'him' and his wife. havent heard back from him. so ya, look out for this guy: i'd hit it.
