in the interest of trying to create something (hopefully) worth reading, as well as (hopefully) something people can laugh about... i introduce the SPAM super thread. i have no idea if this has been done here before, but fuck it, i got some spam this morning that made me laugh so i'm sharing. i figured we could use a new thread or two on ehere, so hopefully this will be a good one. at the very least it be nice to get something in return for having to put up with all the bazillions of spam messages that get sent to everyone.

so on that note, share your favorite spam...

i get at least a dozen of these a day...

I never get anything real funny. But I got an email from a "nigerian banker" not too long ago.

I don't even open spam. Lately I've been getting IM spam, which is quite possibly the most annoying thing ever. I get IMs from people with names like 'xc7w88gfs2' advertising web sites and other crap... and there's no use in blocking them, because it's a different screenname every time. I get at least 3 or 4 of them every day. Stupid spammers.

I used to run a blog but the comment box got so full of spam every few days I just quit working on the blog.

there's this person who made a book about SPAM(mail). not really about it, but he replied to the people who gave the email to him/her. it was pretty cool... the book includes the spam, and then his/her reply...

amazing

i usually save that block of nonsense that sounds like philosophy typed by a guy who is about to die of an overdose.

mine's pretty much all porn, breast and penis enlargement and the occasional real estate spam.

i just recently ended an email convo between me and a 'phisher' - sum guy stating he needed a business partner in order to get money out of his counrty that wouldnt allow him to have it because it was actually his clients money who was in the Iraq war, but him and his whole family (for sm reason the soldiers whole family was with him?) died.

anyways, i took the bait and pretended to be quite interested in his offer and watnot. but a few emails later i ended up finding out more info about him on the interwebs and sent him a picture of 'him' and his wife. havent heard back from him.
