lately whenever i download pictures from 12oz (the bench, etc) , myspace and a few other random sites, all the pictures want to save as bitmaps instead of jpegs. now i know sometimes idiots just load the pictures to the net as bitmaps and youre forced to download in that format and then resave it, but it didn't use to be all the time like it seems to be now. now the majority of pictures i download seem to be in bitmap format opposed to the jpeg and its driving me crazy.

is this happening to all or did i change something in my browser accidentally or what the hell is going on?

Delete your temporary internet files and also any downloaded program files ..... usually found in the directory

    C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files

Usually a small javascript program like an upload control causes this problem

Firefox is the ownz. And will never force you or a family member to save a picture in a format you don't like. Remember, firefox will never ask for your password or credit card information, if you would like to submit this information to firefox staff PM me. :p
