Glenn Barr’s work has been called “the visual equivalent of a David Lynch film.” He uses elements of pop culture set in an alternate 1960s universe. A graduate of the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Glenn has made the city his home base. His paintings have appeared in galleries from coast to coast, and have been reproduced in art journals including Juxtapoz and Film Threat. Glenn’s work has been featured in Mad Magazine, and publications from DC Comics and Paradox Press, as well as in a series of self-published books titled HEEP. His animation work includes The Ren and Stimpy Show, Bjork’s I Miss You video and The New Woody Woodpecker Show. Glenn's latest books, Lowlife Paradise and The Lowlife Companion, are available at www.glbarr.com.
