S@T@N
Do any of you have problems sleeping? How long does it take you to pass out? Very rarely do I get good solid sleep, and it usually takes me some time to finally go under.
RubbeRBand
funny that this would be in a message board where people are posting 24 hours a day, yeah, my post times make it impossible for the FB ayyyyy to trace my location
Guest
I usually pick up a book and read for like 20 minutes untill the eyes get so heavy that I just cant resist. Then it's light out. But some nights I'm in bed untill the sunrises and my heart is beating so loudly that can her it in my ears. I'm aiming for less of those nights. CAPiTA
I used to have serious problems getting to sleep, but then I just started staying up til I felt tired and the problem went away. I went a good week getting like 5 hours of sleep (not much for me), but then my inner clock kicked in and now I'm good. Its like Zen sleeping. You get in touch with your inner tiredness. mr.yuck
I am the closest thing to imortal you will ever meet. I sleep maybe 2-3 hours a day. It's plenty. You just have to jump outta bed and press your ass against something cold like a window. You can go all day. Seriously.

Overtime
i somehow go onto the worst schedule ever, i go to bed at five, wake up at 1, have missed all my morning classes, try to nap sometimes, which just makes me stay up longer, and i always wake up stuffy and congested til i take a shower, then im good, but i wish i would fall asleep at like 10 or 12 and wake up at a good time. Then on weekends, i have to get up and work 9-9, which sucks, cuz i only get like 4 hours of sleep or even less. But the actual falling asleep is simple, very simple
Guest BROWNer
i never have trouble sleeping. usually i read for about 15-20 and i'm gone, sometimes even less. every couple of months i have a night when i turn the lights out and for some reason my mind is just really hyped and i don't sleep for awhile. hottnickels
i had insomnia bad as fuck for years. getting a lot of excercise has helped.. also, after i graduated college i started just going to bed only when i was totally ready for sleep...damn near exhaustion. plus getting a handle on silencing the mind, meditating myself to sleep when necessary. and herbs of course. i usually sleep about 6 hours a night ..waking up is also really hard for me, and i have no good tricks on this... S@T@N
Originally posted by Father John If it's cold in my room, im out....waking up is the hard part.. I fucking hear that. I grew up in New York, going to sleep in a room that was probably around 63 degrees when I went to sleep. Then I moved to a fucking refurbished garage in ORLANDO FUCKING FLORIDA where at night its still like 85 in this bitch. Talk about hell, I'm only now starting to get good sleep because it's been cold out and my room isn't terrifically insulated.

Nekro
Getting up to a fifty degree room in a 170 year old house is not easy. Especially since the wind blows through the windows. Since my older brother moved to college i grabbed his room, it's positively toasty. Probably the warmest room in the house, i'm having trouble adjusting. Its easy to get up though... »§ÜGÅR«
i've always loved sleeping until recently.. you know how when your arm falls asleep and it somewhat tingles when the feeling is comming back to it when u wake up??? Well... I've been waking up with numb fingers on my right hand and really bad arm pains that wake me the fuck up for the past week straight. I wake up almost crying it hurts so bad. My fingers stay numb for about an hour afterwards and go numb throughout the day on and off... fuck.
GLIK$
It all depends on how im feelin. Sometimes I can toss and turn for like 5 hours, other times I can fall asleep in 2 minutes. But sometimes I feel like a nut, sometimes I don't.

Maybe you should tell your doc about that one. *REMINDER TO FELLOW INSOMNIACS* Rubbin one out is the fastest way to put yourself under. The release of saratonin you receive from orgasm should be enough to tucker you out.

S@T@N
Glik0 and I have a friend up in NY who almost died in a car accident because he fell asleep at the wheel. It was at 7:30 in the AM, so THE MAN made him go get sleep tested and shit, and it turns out Sleep Apnea is exactly what was doing it. Get that checked out.
