Guest sneak
by buffting, i reckon she meant a combo of the words: buff (good looking/fine etc) and ting (which means you). she likes you man. i did a thread on this time ago, i wonder if its still around.. Jackson
Haha yea, gucci condom is a buff ting haha, your in there son. Probably the oldest I know and most recognized from london is 'Safe' which is a positive response to most things, also used as a greeting and a term of agreement. a: "Hey man" b: "Safe". a: "Have you got a lighter mate?" b: "yea here you go" a: "safe" a: "lets split the money 50/50" b: "Safe." Post up yours. There were these two cats from Philly I knew in the military that would always say Jawn and "bull". I thought "bull" meant "boy". Like "that young boy right there" switched with "that young bull right there". L.A./Cali Slang mark- A bitch. A sucker. ie; "You actin like a little mark right now" buster- Same as mark. shizzle hizzle bizzle nizzle whateverizzle - Now everybody uses it everywhere but it was Snoop that started it all. Can't really call it L.A. slang though, just Snoop slang. hella- actually originated in the Bay Area but it spread fast throughout Cali. Just means "a lot". ie "There's hella people in this club" homie - friend. short for homeboy. started in LA but now everyone uses it. Homeboy originally came from the Vietnam war era when troops stationed in the same battallions referred to other troops from their same hometown as "homeboys"... eventually it became to be meant as friends. Blood - Bay Area cats say this the same way blacks usually say "brother" to each other. In L.A. they say this, but only Bloods say this when referring to other Bloods. home skillet, home slice- same as homie scrilla - I think this means money. parlay - I think this came from the Bay Area too, not sure. But it just means to like chill at a spot. "We gonna parlay with the homies tonight over on Crenshaw." cuz - This may have came from the South, but Crips in L.A. refer to each other as this. hooptie - car OG - original gangsta... usually a person still gangbangin at anywhere past age 30 and has paid their dues and got respect. BG - baby gangsta... someone in a gang still learning the ropes... usually from like age 8 to age 14.
