I just heard that Rodriquez tore up his Directors Guild Card

because they dont technically allow for 'co-director' credits.

The man gave a big 'fuck you' to hollywood so he could get

Miller on board and riding shotgun.

plus mini scenes are done by tarantino.

Damn, that's two interesting facts right there. Shit, I had no idea.

fermentor - get on that shit! You've read enough Hellblazers for a now - check out the Sin City books or you'll be watching this on DVD next year for your first time.

I read three of the five books a loooong time ago - I need to re-read them. It's too bad they're about $50 Canadian each. The movie, I hear, is based on three of them (not sure which ones).

Guest BIGMETALCIRCUS

i think i saw an interview with someone who was either in this film, or part of the production team... supposedly Tarrantino was brought in for one or two scenes that Rodriguez wasn't quite sure how to film or torn on what he wanted, and Tarrantino only demanded a dollar for his services. pretty sure it was this film. I went and saw Constantine over the weekend as well, and there was at least 8-10 posters for Sin City, each with one single different character on them. Real fresh posters i wouldn't mind having. I can't wait to see this movie.

Aye, aye, aye. Luckily the comic book store is have a 2-week sale and all trade's are 20% off.

BTW: Alan Moore's V is for Vendetta is being made into a movie by the Wachowski (sp) brothers. Haven't read it but I gave it to my dad for Christmas and he said it was really good.

Rodriguez is odd....he's pretty arrogant, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy hanging out with him. He's real proud of taking over most credits for his films, but someone needs to tell him his scores blow. he's pushed pretty hard for the "digital movement" so I have a lot of respect for him. Especially as far as how he made El Mariachi. His book was real interesting.
