Sign Painters have always left a mark on me

    Heres a few from my city.. If you got any post them up here, and if you dont like painted signs, or think this is a stupid post etc. Its not here for you to see anyway.

    Those are cool. I really like the parking grage one. My favorite hand-painted signs are the ones that are really old and faded.

    that's great. i recently started taking photos of the old signage around here too.

    when my grandfather died, there was a huge 8x8 handpainted sign that was on a building owned. a cousin and i fought over it, but he won. i didnt have a place to put it anyways.

    There are tons of hand painted signs on the older buildings around Austin. If you are in the courtyard at Emo's you can see that the dance club on the other side of the alley used to be a winery. The sign is all faded and covered by ivy.

    what about the dudes that do up those little food stores and wendy's windows.... those are some nice shits right there...

    I wondered if anyone that is into graff, got into signage.
    Its almost the same thing. Like when x-mas rolls around,
    you go to stores, restaurants and the windows are painted.
    Those things facinate me. Some are very good, some are just ok.
    Ive done a few lil signs for people, but nothing special.
    You know, they say, "Hey, you like drawing on walls, make me a sign!"
    Theres some cool old ones out here, but I have no flix. :(

    I've always thought that sign painting would be a cool job. I bet it would be pretty fun.
