it's the Cars "Moving in Stereo" that makes that scene so great...

Sean Penn is the fuckin man, period
dude have made so many movies dope with his presence i wonder how he didnt got it before.
He deserved it 100% for Mystic River, but the film itself sucked a million balls with a straw...i dunno...can anyone relate with that very ending?...

Sean Penn TOTALLY deserved that award. I was afraid it was gonna go to Bill Murray (also an awesome role, but not on the level of Penn's).

Depp was ill as fuck, but he was a caricature of little depth. If he'd won it, his entire speech would have to be spent thanking Keith Richards.

Man, Bill Murray was unbelievably awesome in that film...penn's character carried more weight and he has a lineup of dope acting under the belt but murray fuckin killed it.

    naw tesser...

that movie was great but it fell victim to 'clint eastwood ending syndrome'.
He never knows when to finish it off. Bringing the wives into the fold so late was a mistake.
It should have finished when Sean Penn walks down that same bit of road with Kevin Bacon watching.

Clint drags out the end to 'bookend' everything.
He did the same shit in 'Midnight in the Garden of good and evil.'

I thought Bill Murray was dumb sick in LIT, but I thought the role was just waaaay too natural for him. I don't think it was a challenging role in any way for Murray, it was a case of perfect casting.

haha, i overeact on purpous when i say how much it sucked cause i fuckin digged the film 100% until that bitch started the patriot act talk...it ruined it SO bad for me...
All these years acting dirty harry should have learned that there aint a better way to end a film of that kind with a gunshot.
