Twenty years after its debut, Brian De Palma's "Scarface," starring Al Pacino, is being prepped for another theatrical run. Universal Pictures specialty arm Focus Features will roll out the gangster drama in limited release Sept. 19 in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, Detroit, Dallas, Miami and San Francisco. The new theatrical run for the 1983 film will feature new 35mm prints struck from restored film elements and a newly remixed digital soundtrack. Following the theatrical engagements, a home entertainment moratorium will be lifted as "Scarface Two-Disc Anniversary Edition" and "Scarface Deluxe Gift Set" DVDs roll out Sept. 30. haha.. you are so right on sometimes. but fuck you and your guns... everyone gets their opinion of "drug pushing" from that movie. capitalism is good. "allah" (substitute "god" or "Lord" if you so choose) praise america.

Fuck I gotta travel to the other side of the fuckin' county to Baldwin Hills or Hollywood just to catch. At least it's showing for me.

I got the OG DVD on ebay a year ago for 20 bucks.

Bootlegs suck cause no special features.

I'm springing for the 50$ collectors set with free Tony Montana monogramed money clip. Bling!

damn scarface. they are only showing it in union city....fuck that place.

HA! Thats where I had to go to see it.

I caught the 8:30 showing last night.

Wooooo...way better on the big screen

than in my living room. I had showed up

for the 4:20 showing, only to find out it

was SOLD OUT! I bought my tix for the

8:30 showing, went back to my city,

came back at 7pm, and the 8:30 showing

was SOLD OUT! The theater had no seats

by the time the movie started.

TOR-Ive seen it a million times, and

it was still fresh. I seen it in the theaters

when I was 6. Watching it again on the the

Big Screen, the way the movie was intended

to be seen, was a treat. Im probably going to

see it again. Some people even smoked up

in the theater.
