CIPHER_one Posted September 30, 2004 Share Posted September 30, 2004 How does everyone feel about rulers? I'm sure some people swear by 'em. And I'm sure some people have no patience for them. I have the patience for them, but prefer the look of a hand drawn line. It takes something away from it if I had to use a ruler. Its along the same lines with how I feel with a computer-made 'drawing'. It's just not the same feeling as it is when I've drawn it myself. Sometimes I'll take the stright-edge out, but 90% of the time I'll just take a shot with my shaky hands. I don't think I'd even like it if I had the ability to draw a completely straight line ruler-less. I like that semi-wobbly effect I give my lines. Thoughts? P.S. SURE IT LOOKS GOOD, BUT I'D RATHER DO IT BY HAND BECAUSE I LIKE THAT LOOK BETTER. THE PROBLEM WITH RULERS IS WHEN YOU USE A MARKER TO DRAW A LINE AND THE INK GETS LEFT ON THE SIDE AND SMUDGES.. STEEL RULERS ARENT BAD, AND GOOD FOR HITTING PEOPLE WITH IN CLASS. BUT THEY CAN DAMAGE THE PENS OR MARKERS YOU ARE USING TO RULE WITH.
