    read the play ... its a bajillion times better (the literature always is...)
    but the kenneth brannaugh (sp?) version of hamlet is probably the best version out there

    Shakespeare is stupid, hamlet was cool cuz it basically told the mentality of teenage angst, yet he was in his 30's, Ive never read G & R are dead but lots of people have told me its good, i think it's time to go buy the book.

    Although true, I just wanted to point out that "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" was written by Tom Stoppard, not Shakespeare. Here's some celery:

    i think you might find that a problem as R and G are dead is a movie. also, Hamlet was not a teenager.

    "R & G are Dead" is a play... which just happens to have a movie version available. So reading it would not be a problem; it should actually be recommended over watching a movie of it. Beer,
