Mr. Mang Posted January 21, 2005 Share Posted January 21, 2005 some of you might find this mildly amusing.. i realized that we had a ton of cardboard, tape, and spraypaint here.. so i decided to make a robot out of supplies. it took a few hours and almost passing out from lack of fresh air.. but it's completed.. it has no arms cause HE DONT NEED NONE. i really need a girlfriend or something... He left us there while him and his gf went "to have some quiet time" so we ran amuck. It was built against a wall of the house and we built 3 walls, reinforced them, built a roof and a swing door which you had to crawl through, as well as chopping up all the left over cardboard and adding some flair. My good friend Cory and I built him and Cory was the one who had the balls to skate in it at the skatepark. he said the suit didn't skate too well, but it was cool to see him just walking around and cruising in it. I just took the photos, which Consolidated Skateboards used in an ad a year or so ago. Unfortunately, there was an annoying rollerblader kid in the way when I shot the photo. Consolidated ran the ad and the kid's mom somehow ended up seeing it. She called threatening to sue us but there has been no legal action taken... Maybe she fears the wrath of Hagbot, I dunno.
