Requiem For A Dream

Who has seen this movie? This is by far my favorite movie of all time, its just fucking insane. I hear they are starting to show it in high schools around here now. For those who dont know, its about drug use and the american dream, its a fucked up flick and its realistic. Check it if you havent yet.

I've started a theard about how terrible this movie is.

It's clever with it's quick cutting that's it, it tricks people into liking it.

It's one thing for a movie to be depressing but this went over the edge for the sake of shock value. Jared Letto was a heroin addict, you can't take a character any lower without killing them. They cut off his arm for shock value and that's just stupid.

The only good in the movie was the parts with the mother.

I liked Requim for a Dream Although it didnt really have much of a shock value in my case.. id much rather watch Train Spotting. How ever if were going to talk about drug flicks lets cut the crap. Its all about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

i couldn't stand that fucking movie. sweet, another shock film for everyone to think "oh, that's what it's like on the streets". the acting and editing and cinematography was done pretty well, but honestly i think that movie belonged in the toilet.

that movie is nuts.. very weird but also very cool.. haha it was so funny when that girl had to suck that big black guys dick for her heroin.. it made me laf

its a good movie but damm, it wasnt so great that it needs so many threads

it was so-so. Im really not into to movies that make you feel all sad and shit. who wants to really a movie like that?

Sorry re-posting this, I havent been here that long to know if this was posted before. I know it is a bit extreme with the portrayal of "the streets" , but I thought the cinematography was insane.

that is the best part of the movie. And the mom parts. Not a bomb oscar winner, though. Plus, i hear it made people sad. Not me. That ending was making me crack up..."ASS TO ASS!"

I have yet to see the director's cut, from what I understand they all kill themselves, that would be super.

yes that movie is fucking incredible. its one of those movies that makes you feel like shit after you see it. good stuf. training day did had the same impact on me. after both movies...i definitly did not feel happy enough to sing this song:
