Ski Mask
nail polish remover on a cloth. beware with plastic frames....if its a harsh enough remover it'll eat at the coating.

anonymity1
Um, if they are eye glasses, you should take them out of the frame by unscrewing it at the temple. Try using acetone.

anonymity1
scrapping of any form is not recommended.....depending on what type of paint it is solvent in the way to go.
parcheesey
dont use any strong chemicals, itll make it melt and like etch. i remember something liek this happened to me, but not glasses, and i used xylene and it ruined it. i cant remember what it was tho. johnny
i paid megabucks for these glasses. i've used goo gone and my finger by gently rubbing the paint away but it chotchskied my lenses. micromesh cloth and goo gone maybe? ese that's what you recommend?? i'll try the fingernail too. thanks
hottnickels
i was gonna suggest 'goof off' it's gotten paint off suede for me before. (with a paper towel) i think i got it at wal-mart. i was also gonna say nail polish remover. that stuff is a good solvent without being real harsh. anonymity1
My fathers an eye doc. He uses acetone alot to clean lenses, that and 100% alcohol. I know this one girl who dropped her glasses in etch bath in my printmaking class, she said there are tiny little pits in the lenses now. haha

Fuck Ya'll
A silver marker leaked in my purse and got ink all over my Gucci sunglasses. I scratched it off, and it actually came out. Are you sure it's going to scratch your lenses? Try rubbing it off with a cloth first.
seeking
there are so many variables here, it's kind of impossible to say. it totally depends on what your lenses are made of, what your frames are made of, the quality of the material, UV/scratch/glare coatings, etc. you should call the spot you got em from and ask them what they suggest. that way, if it gets fucked up, you'll have some leverage with them to replace em...they probably wouldnt do it outright for free, but they might knock off labour or discount or something. i got my glasses from 'americas choice' or some shit like that...2 pair's for $59.99 i think, including the exam. they're cheap, but i break shit, so it's better this way. point is, if your shits are that flossy, you might wanna just go get a couple pairs of cheap glasses just for painting. johnny
yeah, i gotta handle that seeks. i wanted a pair of gnarly 'hanson bros.' glasses like those killers in slapshot. i already got a free replacement pair under warranty for stepping on my shits while at work a few months back. http://slapshot.20m.com/cast/image2.jpg'> thanks

Tyler Durden
leave the paint on there to look extra "artsy". thats usually my move. although, i've never had a problem with just working some paint thinner on the lens with a q-tip.
