seeking Posted July 19, 2001 Share Posted July 19, 2001 damn i wish i was around back then... to go to school each day an be met with new pieces on the train... fuck... it must have been the coolest thing in the world. as far as im concerned, drunk and tired, once the subways went down, graff wasnt really 'graff' anymore... it was such a subculture then... it was really them and their friends... all the writers were probably no more than two people away from one another... its still a 'community' today, but not nearly the same... i dont know if this makes any sense... just looking at those pics reminds me why i write... cause im trying to feel what those cats did back then...
