Quidam (Art wank circusry at its finest)

So my old man wanted to celebrate his birthday by seeing some sort of live show. Cirque Du Soleil are currently in town showing their latest production so we went to that.

I wasn't really sure what to expect. It had the capacity to be really bad. But luckily it was far from it. I've never seen people do crazy acrobatics live like that before. I dug it muchly. There were a few bits where my interest lagged, but the improvised buffonery of the nerdy clowns (they pulled people out of the audience and did mime work with them... good times) and the hectic little chinese acrobats with the string and wood and backflips and crazyness definately made up for it.

All in all if your in a position where you feel comfortable splurging a relatively large amounts of bling on random entertainment, then I highly recommend it.

Moogle, yeah one the appeals of it to me which I didn't mention was the brief glimpse into circus life (we were in the second row so there was alot of interaction between us and the performers). I think a lot of them would of went to preforming arts schools and the like. But I'm sure one or two are probably just fellow peck wobblers who didn't have anything better going for them.

23587- I havn't heard of Big Fish, I'll google it at some point ..
