heavyLox
if you had been runing QT pro and then upgraded to a newr NON pro version that thats the issue. or safari needs to be re-shown where the new QT is.
dignan
it's quicktime version 6.5.3 and i think the older version was 6.2 but i'm not sure. and i'm on an older version of safari with mac os x 10.2.8 before i even made this thread i tried to google my solution with no luck. most of the links wind up taking me to the newest quicktime version 7. cant i just set it up in my browser preferences somewhere? thanks
guerillaeye
im on Win XP, but.... i was having the same problem.... i used to be able to play avi files on quicktime, then i upgraded to the newer quicktime and they wouldnt play.. on anything!!! i broke down and posted my problem in the computer tech thread and mainter gave me a link to download new codecs... after reading a bit about the issue, i found that the newer quicktime SUCKS and it suggested i downgrade back to the older version.. which i did and tonight i am going to watch the devinci code.. thanks mainter!
