any of you guys/girls out there own a prosumer digi cam..

i.e. digicam with professional features (not nec. digital slr's).

i just picked up a Fujifilm Finepix s7000 this week.. and i cant put the fucking thing down.

if you got em.. or lookin to get one.. drop a model name.. and for those who are looking at them and want all the specs, pro's, con's, samples..

id suggest you check out www.dpreview.com

for what its worth my old ass 2300 is built like a fucking tank. I've but that thing through a ton of abuse and its only just starting to get a bit tempermental. That things been dropped, spilled on, thrown over a fence into mud, and god knows what else. Dont know how the newer stuff stacks up.

ese, my camera is pretty sturdy as well... i got it because its not like touristy cameras all light and breakable feeling in your hand... i felt like i needed a camera that wouldnt deflate my manhood...
although it was a lil smaller than expected...

im sure there are kids on here with a lot better cameras and who know tons more about other brands... but i really like mine.. southern kid had/has the same camera and another kid i skate with has it also... so i kinda got to play and look at it a bit before i decided on buying one.. one thing i noticed on the review sites was that navigation is a little weird... meaning basically you need to read up on the manual a lil to learn how to work the camera, or buy an easy ol point and shoot jobber.. i found that my digi was just as easy to work as my electronic minolta slr.. i know i ramble i ramble its a dope picture taker

they said the same about mine.. but ive had it for like 4 hours and i know all the basic features and more. i had an old sony 1.8 megapixel doohickey.. and i scraped it for this one. i dont know the durability level on it yet.. but it feels pretty damn sturdy.
