DIBS
i have recently started to feel very old, reason being, that i used to find myself on top of new music, exciting music, cutting edge music etc. now i have been exposed by younger people as a has been. recently i was put on to the band "at the drive in". someone at my work put me on to them knowing i was a big fugazi fan, and by god, if at the drive in isnt the greatest thing ever(to me right now) hail to my new favorite band. but i felt really old when i found out how long they have been doing their thing. so all you youngins and to the retiries, whats been goin on in your musical world, if youd be kind enough to share with a has been. I prefer more angry hardcore music myself, but I am open to a lot of shit. DIBS
ok, just for clarity, instead of just making lists, lets try to at least explain what type of music genre the bands are, so us old farts know whats goin on. young whipersnappers

bobobi11
Dibs I'm hearing you. I am rapidly approaching the big 30 and am seriously depressed. I try really hard to stay up on music, but find I am usually a few years behind. My 9 year old listens to crappy pop, but my 6 year old likes rock and has actually turned me on to a couple of bands, how sad is that?

Dr. Dazzle
This is weird. I was just gonna start a thread on ATDI before I accidentaly clicked on this thread. Spooky. Anyways, they fucking rock. I've known about them for a few years, but I just started getting in to them hardcore now. Napolean Solo is like the best song I have heard in a long time. Awesome stuff.:king:
