So instead of the 85 degree beach & getting mugged by pre-teens for fourteen days, I get a fuckin ghost town and my own sauce to suck on. I'm heading to Portugal for 2 weeks in January with one of my best friends. I've talked to two portuguese people so far & both agreed that portugal sucks in january. roadpig Posted December 27, 2004 Share Posted December 27, 2004 just come to my lil neighborhood. i live in a lil hood dubbed 'lil portugal'. i guess a long time ago, a bunch of porteguese people settled here, and made this area their hood. they have a bunch of those lil 'cafe's', and 'clubs' up and down the street that are exclusive to people from portugal. the people are nice, and clean too. we live in an area that's considered ghetto, but because the portugese people are so clean and tidy, they have our block lookin all perfect. they take pride in their homes, so our block looks nice. my landlady is portugese too. she makes this liquer, made of anise seed and sugar...wooooooo. they don't play when it's time to get faded!
