The £4.6m automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) scheme will be used by 23 police forces to find vehicles which have been stolen or involved in crimes. Now its being used for other purposes. The same is happening in the USA. Have you noticed Cameras on every highway yet? The UK is the test grounds for these systems.
