Has anyone seen a box car with a logo that says "PROGRESSIVE RAILROAD"? The one I saw was brand new and had a real dark blue paint job and the letters above the numbers were "PGR". Never seen one before today. Just thought i'd get a little train nerdy and see if anyone knew what was up with these.

    dude, i got you.

pgr is a really really short line railroad out of minneapolis, and i've seen about 10 boxes total so far that they've put out, including a restamped orange tropicana, and some other dirty ass box. the newly painted dark blue one that was checked was built in 1980, so they're repainted from other lines. i think this is the first or second year they've had any boxes at all, but i could be wrong. check out the december 03 issue of trains for a little info on the line.
i can't believe they're all the way out there already.
