Guest --zeSto-- Posted April 17, 2002 Share Posted April 17, 2002 strange... here's what I sugest you do. Start working on 3D with 90' angles. You know..? A bunch of blocks and lines. Then you can skip the shading and work with 4 tones of grey (for the sake of practice). It's much easier to get a grasp of 3D on a solid plane (think Neck CNS). The above flicks use what I call "fluid 3D" the first pic mostly, is all about the shading. so if you're just breaking into the thrid demention... teister Posted April 23, 2002 Share Posted April 23, 2002 yeah man, do block letters and just put 3D at one angle and figure out how it all works. Look at a cereal box or something to figure out how the light hits one object at different angles. Then apply that to you art.
