Ok, I’m getting tired by the 'underground hiphop dick riders fanclub' threads popping up constantly. I’m not dissing underground hiphop, some of it I like, some of it I don’t; like any other music. I just don't like this 'underground is soo cool and everything else is crap' trend which seems to be mainstreem itself now! What ever happened to the days of enjoying hiphop for what it was (the actual music!) not going label shopping and boogying on down to the funky beats!!?

Rant over which leads me to the topic; your favourite oldskool tunes (pacific tracks please!) backpackers get your note books out...! here’s a few of mine...

Afrika Bambatta - Zulu war chant
    boogie Boys - Break Dancer
busy bee - Busy Bee's Groove
cold crush brothers - Cold Crush
crash crew - High Power Rap
    dimples d - Sucker DJ
doug e fresh - the show
eric b. and rakim - i know you got soul
fat boys - can you feel it
fearless four - Problems of the World Today
    funky 4 plus 1 - That's The Joint
Harlem World Crew - Lets Rock
imperial brothers - Live It Up
kurtis blow - These Are the Breaks
man parrish - boogie down bronx
    ultramagnetic mc's - critical beatdown

more to come... when i can be arsed... maybe.

don't fool with the old skool...!
