mental invalid Posted November 21, 2001 Share Posted November 21, 2001 ...ok, so im not really one for holidays, they seem way overly hallmarkie and completely misguided, but considering the times, and the fact that thanksgiving is the least of the corporate holidays, i thought it might be a good time to just give a shout to those aspects of our lives, big or small, that help us roll outta bed in the morning or make this life worth living...i dont do it enough myself.... my fam my health, the fact that all my senses are still intact hanging with my friends, the cyberspace ones included the fact i have a roof over my head and food in my gut clothes on myback and shoes on my feet sunsets and sunrises changing seasons music art women, esp the one im dating stars and shooting ones that ive found "god" on my own terms my mind, although sometimes it plays tricks on me my experiences that have led me to this point in my life all the aspects of life that continually amaze me, my child like eyes full moons and slim crescent ones too the poetry in the day to day limitless potential long conversations, long walks to nowhere the desire and strength to deconstruct my ego and rebuild how i want to the blue in the sky the green in the grass children on playgrounds a cup of coffee and a cigarette in the cold morning air my college degree, which most of the time i consider frivolous anyhow that although kyle died in a car accident, adam managed to walk away that i got to be a friend/ a roomate/ and just simple experienced casey before he died this year in a car accident also that im alive and all the things that help me recognize that i am finding a spray can and wondering what it could do and last but not least: to typing graffiti into yahoo search and it coming back with 12 oz prophet, believe me ive seen and learned so much in such a short time more then i ever coulda without it...and to the heads on this board, you all know who you are....thanks..... ....rOe......
