-Rage-
I recently made a trip to Ron Jon Surf Shop and discovered a great pair of sunglasses. I've been a big fan of Arnette's for a long time. They fit snuggly and have a huge variety of colors and styles. I bought these for $80 on Monday... Arnette : Rage : Yellow with Brown element [ A -Rage- model too.. go figure. ANNNNND there are A's on both sides.. AA mofo. ] Arnette : Catfish My first pair was similar to this, but Gold and not Silver. I'm in love with Arnette's now. I want to get my hands on these too: Arnette : Rage : Sand with Soldierly Element Arnette : 4041 : Brown Yellow Gradient with Gold Logo What do you guys style? Oakley? Spy? Dragon? Something cheap? Something pricey?

I wanted a pair of those so bad when i was 13... i will get them now. before working here i wore Black flys. very trendy So Cal brand. http://www.flys.com/index.asp I knew someone who worked for thses guys and they are dicks so i cant support them anymore, on a personal view type thing. Guest
these are a sure sign of someone trying WAY to hard. oakley has made some horrible sunglasses in the past. Like those ones that go over the top of your head and only look good on bald headed aliens like this guy: and even there.... not so much. ERIZENO
I wouldn’t say trying to hard ... it’s a mentality that is Oakley. Have you seen the headquarters ... its straight up babble material? When I started here I told the trainer in the group I thought this was some of the worst looking stuff out there. Once I understood the mentality, I began to dig it. It’s this technology wrapped in art thing they have going; it is hit or miss for sure. I do have to admit I do own a pair of those Over the Top... never wore them but i have them ...i got them and was all excited put them on in the car and about a block later they were back in the box. This is an odd pair I got when they came out, I liked how different they were, alas that was short lived and I put them away in my vault about a year ago. Some odd history ... Both the owners of Arnette and Dragon were formerly Oakley designers who spawned their own things. One with respect one without. ****edit for format ****
sarcasm
^^ DUDE, i've drove there not too long ago. i went to a nike sample sale w/ my sister, and when we were driving we saw this big ominous pirate flag (with the skull and bones) waving in the hair, high up on some big ass hill. we decided to go look at what the fuck was up there, and right when we drove up the hill, you see the big ass enterence (your first picture). it was fucking crazy. they had like spikes comming out of the building and what not. It has its place and it is the best there but I can’t stand that rainbow of colors everywhere I look when wearing polarized. Fishing, Boating, etc it’s the best but day to day uuugggghhh. I will agree on the O... but they are getting better and haven’t changed the design staff to do it ... design was doing their own thing and fuck everyone else, but their ears are open and things are getting better. If you don’t feel it I'm not surprised I didn’t for a long time either, it’s an acquired taste in my view....and in the end to each their own.
