I haven't decided on a goal for this year.. definatly put more quality into each freight.. I caught myself slipping with that this year. oh well. this year will be fun. another loser Posted January 2, 2003 Author Share Posted January 2, 2003 i seriously hope no arguements emit from this topic. but to the guys that say " to paint more ", i think thats everyones goal, which is why you raise your goal number each year. but question. if you dont reach your goal, would you still set the goal higher next year and try harder, or start over again for the previous goal? im dissappointed, and sorry to say that i didnt reach my goal this year, and even though im not about making excuses, i think my problems were legitimate. this year im planning 150, which is small i know, but last year was the first year i set a goal, and the first year i focused on fr8s other than just wanting to paint whatever. last year was a good year for me though. i learned alot. keep the drama and bullshit out of here, lets hear your numbers and positive comments. Originally posted by railroadjerk fuck numbers. all of you quit bragging/lying/gassing yourselves and go write graffiti for you and quit comparing and contrasting with eachother on a message board. it makes you all look ultra needy. chill dude, a goal is good for motivation. if someone reads this thread and sees cracked say he plans to do say 500 this year, then that person, who may have never set a goal before could be motivated by that, maybe not to set a goal for themselves, but to at least get out there and do more. when you see people anticipating such things, it makes you want to do so as well, when you see them up in town or on the lines, it makes you want to be up also. not to satisfy them, not for them to see you, but because you want to see yourself up there. and yes, thats painting for yourself. if your doing graffiti, and your doing it ALL for you, and not for anyone else at all, then you wouldnt be putting anything into it, and you wouldnt have a name, you would just be a vandal. and why use spray paint then? they can buff it, just tear shit up physically, right?! truth is, even though your main focus in doing graffiti is for yourself, you still have that itch for someone else to see it, and an itch for a bit of fame. otherwise, just paint whatever word you want in your backyard and dont show it to anyone. bombing, freights and productions would be pointless. so stand back, let us have our little discussion, and itll die soon enough, just like the rest.
