Yeah, I've done a lot of risk and the insurance cats are the leaders.

I'm going back to study a bit of math. I need to understand stats and data analysis better than I do.

Lot of that data collected from CC use is for fraud detection, but wonder if that is still too trusting? No idea how much data is used for spending profiles but this is just one of the reasons I do as much as I can in cash. Even if the CC companies did not use that data, they sell or provide it to people who do. Periodically, maybe yearly or just when a policy changes, your CC company will send you a pamphlet on your privacy rights, your data, how it's used, and what for. Of course, this is written in the plainest language possible, not just so everyone can understand it, but to allow for liberal interpretations. Everything you're doing CC wise is getting turned over to someone and analyzed.

Those insurance motherfuckers do know some shit, master level gambling.

Oh for sure. That I'm not doubting.RE: all the data being used.

I guess, again, for me it comes down to just not really caring.

got arrested for trespassing on Government/military land a couple years ago. I don't doubt that they didn't look into me as a civilian.

I just pulled this from a contract regarding a rewards scheme for a highly recognsiable international company related to travel:
