the only 'illegal' material that 12oz puts up with is graffiti related.

    It's their house, their rules.

Bootleggin of graffitiproducts is very counterproductive for graffiticulture.
It takes alot of time, effort and money to put out a video and you're lucky if you break even. Writers should support and buy videos if they have any interests in viewing them.

Thats why your thread was closed and the reason already posted too.

bootlegging is just theivery, it's not cool... almost everything bootlegged is the result of artistic or creative effort... if there's no money (even the meager 50cents per album sale and 15cents a radio play) then instead of writing songs or going through the stress of studio recording, musicians will become garbagemen (well, the drummers anyway)... because of poor album sales tours will be cut short or cancelled... good bands will break up, c'est la vie

if you're good, you'll make it, I mean... look at R. Kelly!!!

Same thing with videos... you know, it's not hollywood magic, there's no guy out there with a bag of money just waiting for you to finish your Graff video. Just imagine you wanted to make a movie, today... got a camera? got tapes or film? got access to the editing suite? got a good soundman? Is there anything that DOESN'T cost money?

all so some impudent snot nosed 14 year old punk can get it off Kazaa and burn 7 copies in one night to give to all his little pals... Artistic Paydirt

i am definitely opposed to bootlegging especially when it comes to graffiti products or underground music, but god damn, in australia, it costs something like $50 for a foreign graffiti video, this is obviously gonna create a little niche for someone to bootleg videos, charge half less than half of that, and come out ahead. it sucks though...
