I hate to bogg down the photo thread any further with big pics, so here goes. finally got off my ass and did some night time shooting with a real camera, instead of my digi. heres the results....

that was deffinatly my favourite photo post ever on here.. never has the city i live in look so cool.

thanks everyone. I'm really loving the way these shots turned out, and I plan on doing lots more shooting. I botched alot of shots with camera shake (even on a tripod) so I dropped the cash and got the weird ass release cable needed for my camera, and that should take care of that. I'll try and do another post on the weekend, I should have a roll or two by then...

those were taken with a pentax mz-30 (zx-30 in the states I think) with a variable 35-80mm lens. all those photos were done with the f-stop at 4.5 and varying exposure lengths.....a few were 30 second exposures, but most were closer to 2-10 seconds. I just used the internal light meter, and nudged the exposure a tiny bit past what the meter recommended usualy. I used my roomate's velbon tripod (dont know the model number). that about covers it I think...

 

oh, and these are all lab devloped. still havent got off my ass and learned to devlop myself. that should be happening this spring tho...
