Weap: If you go here : http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseactio...=20050514213548

You can hear the whole CD. You don't even have to have a myspace account. Take it from me, it takes a few listens to really get into it. Makros is right, it's a lot more dancier then the rest of their releases. The first song has a straight up 4 on the floor beat halfway through the song that rips. Some of the synth sounds are infectious and get lodged in your brain.

Heard that single, love of the world or something.

twas okay. Im glad it wasn't so industrial goth kinda music that it easily could have been. Then again I did like the quake computer videogame soundtrack too... maybe I've just been really prejudiced when it comes to NIN.

In April, Trent Reznor released the Garageband file for the single "Bite the Hand that Feeds". What this means, if you are a Mac user and have Garageband you can download this file and view how the song is layered in individual tracks. I don't have a mac, but I found a site where someone had ripped the audio into individual tracks. Already, there are about 500 fan remixes of the song. I'm working on one myself and having a blast. It's things like this that solidify my love for this band.

The next track slated for Garageband release is "Only".

Here's the link for Mac users with Garageband: http://www.nin.com/current/index.html

Scroll down to the 4.15.05 news release, the "file you might find interesting".

If you have a PC, you can grab the individual files from http://www.saemskin.com/samples/THTF/ encoded in .rar format. There's something like 25 rars but it took me about 5 minutes to download them, the site is fast. Unfortunatly, you'd have to layer the tracks yourself if you wanted to see it in pre-mixdown format.

At worst, it's a great way to see the basics of producing.
