Don't even worry about a specific name right now, just go through the whole alphabet.. work on about 4 letters at a time until you get them down. look at simple fonts and take into account where the bars come out. Note thier placement compared to the other bars that form the letter. Do not write on anything outside of a blackbook until you understand how letters are formed. Take an art course it your local community college to get the idea of 3-d and shading down.. as well as complimentary colors. That should be good enough for now. rinse Posted January 18, 2004 Share Posted January 18, 2004 IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE GOT A NEW ETCH-A-SKETCH FOR CHRISTMAS but seriously, i see some potential lurking between the lines. listen to boxcars... he is giving sound advice which is a rarity in this game. also, when your working on letter structure, it can be helpful to accasionally work on the letters individually. put them on the same page but let them be free standing. when you start overlaping letters its easier to make them seem more uniform or hide weak formation. and if you use that as a crutch... well its sort of a weak foundation.
