iloveboxcars Posted February 17, 2003 Share Posted February 17, 2003 me and jessica were looking through a bunch of old school papers from thier childhood and we came across one from her step brother .. it was a d.a.r.e. program quiz (dare is california's "teach kids about how drugs are bad before they even know what drugs are" program..) i dont know if dare is anywhere else. so anyway we read through it and two answers stood out, and made us laugh. the first question was "what is one good thing about not drinking alcohol?" the answer was "you wont get drunk and be mean to your kids" second question was "what is one bad thing about drinking alcohol?" the answer was "you'll get drunk and hit your kids" now, i personally, as a teacher, would take that as a red flag. derek is his name also, we were watching home videos and there is one video they were going to send to thier grandparents in alabama, and they were all sitting in front of the camera and her dad says "we just got back from the show, and we are all kinda exhausted.. but being around derek for longer then 10 minutes is pretty exhausting" and derek looks down all sad and wipes what seems to be a tear from his eye. then the dad talks for alittle bit more and finally says "ok, you guys better take a good look at derek because this might be the last time you see him breathing" and no one laughs.. everyone just sits staring and without saying a word jessicas dad gets up and turns off the camera. we were rolling for hours. poor fuck that derek is. anyways, i just laughed alot.
