Hit my open eye and caused a thick red vein to stretch across my entire eye with little shoot offs. Ugh. If I can find the flick of it, I will share. BUT.... basically, those veins are vessels running down your cornea to supply it with oxygen, sometimes they run down further than they are meant to and red veins form like that because your contact lens is obstructing the oxygen passage. year 12 human biology...WHAT.
