Ski Mask Posted July 22, 2003 Share Posted July 22, 2003 wake up at 8:10 (work starts at 8) yell obscenities at the top of my lungs debate calling in sick call to say I'll be late (3 numbers to call, one on the other side of the country) show up to work 45 minutes late scratch my ass and sit at my desk doing nothing like usual almost bail going downstairs on a puddle in the stairwell get my boss to call the plumbers go back to my desk and adjust myself plumbers come, fix leak, leave open the stairwell door to find a small waterfall comming through the roof run to get my boss. boss runs up stairs and finds out a pipe on our AC has burst. plumbers called, ac tech called, carpet cleaners called. so now...the stairwell is flooded, the ac is out, and I have a yearly preformance review in 17 minutes. AC kicked in about 5 minutes before I left. now I'm sitting at home in my recliner wearing only my boxer briefs and about to hop in the shower....hopefully tommorow is a little better.
