    my computer's 3d style

Discussion started by toastone - Mar 12, 2003

I don't have a scanner so I can't post any shit I've drawn right now. I decided to mess around with 3d studio max a little bit, just drawing simple 2D shapes then extruding them and distorting them and all that. Ended up looking like 'toas', I figured I'd stick with it. toas isn't bad anyway, the s sucks come to think of it though, makes a better n. I realize theres a lot of writers that can draw this type shit without 'breaking a sweat' as they say. I dont think this is anything amazing, but its something to look at I guess, or bitch about. just trying some new shit.

I'm wondering if anyone out there does digital sketches or anything. Seems like a cop out, but I dont know...

The only shitty part of making pieces like that is that it would be a bitch to paint.

I used discreet 3D Studio Max 5, I think they actually just call its 3ds max 5 now, thats what it says on the splash screen. I'm not really sure where I'd get it now, its expensive, definitely need a pirated version. Try search at packetnews.com if you use IRC.

here's another little 3ds max thing I did last night, once again working entirely with my comp, I really need a scanner...
