Tyler Durden
A friend was having a party a few years ago and when he got drunk enough to leave and walk around town punching walls and stop signs, we decided to go through his old home movies collection.... At this point, it's important for me to note that his family is very Italian. Very guido-esque eye-taliano. So we pop in this tape, and its of some backyard birthday party shit in the late 80's/early 90's. All of the family is there, no ones shirts have sleeves and all the women have the hair teased out like crazy. About 5 minutes into this video, whoever was holding the camera started filming my boy (who was probably 8 at the time.) riding around on a powerwheels. And in some divine act of synchronization, that song "Gloria" started playing. The next 5 minutes was that song in perfect sync with this kid riding around the yard in a powerwheels truck. Everyone else stopped talking. To this day, it's still possibly the most eerie/hypnotic/hilarious thing I've ever seen. The next shot is my boys dad with the camera on his mom saying "Ahhhh, lookit my wife! She's so FAT!". Balls deep.
