Guest imported_El Mamerro
Yeah, I just picked up "Spectrum", by this guy called Jega, who was classmates with Aphex Twin and µ-ziq (check him out) at the architecture school they went to... Lots of variety on that album, from drill 'n bass-type editing (á la Squarepusher/Twin), to gentle melodious stuff to hardcore breaks. I'm very glad I picked this up on pure whim. Beer, El Mamerro Edit: Yeah, what fr8lover said.... BROWNer can help you out on even stranger and rarer stuff.

Guest fr8lover
druqks isnt even comparable to any album before that. its kinda rubbish. spectrum is a great album...everything from muziq sounding melody and soft beats to the song "pitbull" which is fuggin hard. if you want hard get CAUSTIC WINDOW "COMPILATION" and listen to track two "afx114"

Guest BROWNer
whoa! people gettin' there electronic musician nerd facts on! i personally can't recommend any more than whats been mentioned already without getting off topic..hangable autobulb is amazing, but you won't ever find it if you don't already have it.. same with gak.... or diceman..or joyrex..so completely nix those off the recom- mendations..or maybe you can get that shit on the net now(?).. pretty much all to be said. autechre crush everyone. most of the cream shit for this type of stuff is on warp/skam/rephlex/planetmu, with the odd masterpiece spewing from some small ass label intermittently. arovane 'tides' has been killin' me for 2 years straight. but its super mellow, not all micro edits and shit so you may want to pass on that.. mash potatoes.
