aphex psuedonyms that might help you:

JOYREX, THE DICE MAN, POLYGON WINDOW, CAUSTIC WINDOW, AFX, GAK...

anything under those names is certified richard james GOLD ^

squarepusher, mu-ziq, jega, bogdan raczinsky, cex, kid606, boards of canada, plone, plaid...

anything on rephlex, anything on warp....

  3. Yeah, I just picked up "Spectrum", by this guy called Jega, who was classmates with Aphex Twin and µ-ziq (check him out) at the architecture school they went to... Lots of variety on that album, from drill 'n bass-type editing (á la Squarepusher/Twin), to gentle melodious stuff to hardcore breaks. I'm very glad I picked this up on pure whim. Beer,

    El Mamerro

Edit: Yeah, what fr8lover said.... BROWNer can help you out on even stranger and rarer stuff.

Is that new Aphex album good the Druqks one?

druqks isnt even comparable to any album before that. its kinda rubbish.

spectrum is a great album...everything from muziq sounding melody and soft beats to the song "pitbull" which is fuggin hard.

if you want hard get CAUSTIC WINDOW "COMPILATION" and listen to track two "afx114"
