since there has been precedent set for starting threads about musical artists I decided it was a safe play for me to join in. just wondering if there were any Aesop Rock fans out there, I've seen all sorts of hip-hop acts mentioned but have yet to see his name grace this site. seeing as he's one of my current favorites (there are very few) and he's six foot six I thought I'd plug him here. if you haven't heard his shit I urge you to go find it. his full-length, Float, is ill and can be found at your local indy-record store. his earlier ep's are OOP, but well worth the hunt. more info at dirtyloop.com (artwork by Five)

yeaaaah i noticed the same lack of good music mentionings...aesop is gooood stuff...does anyone else notice his morbid obsession with tugboats, and "utility spillage" hehe it seems he mentions these among other things in many a song.
