Gotta say, I loved that one.

I thought it was cool how the story itself was pretty simple (girl with hollywood dreams creates a dillusional world for herself when her dreams are stepped on), but the storytelling was intricate and complex. When I left the theater I thought more about that movie and what it meant than I have about a film in a long time. I think Lynch is becoming one of the best filmmakers of the newer generation.

Check out Waking Life too (if you haven't already), it came out shortly after Mulholland Dr. and is also really unique and thought provoking.
