MTV Canada - Quest for NYC Writers

We at MTV Canada are interested in covering all kinds of sub and counter-cultures, and will have a crew visiting NYC in the near future. Capturing New York's venerated graffiti art and culture is something we'd rather not miss.

Does anybody know of any graffiti events coming up, any graffiti artists that would be willing to speak with us (anonymously if required), or of any other websites or New York directories that would make this search easier? We will only be in the city for a couple days, date to be determined. I would prefer to have an artist's personal email so we can work out a schedule.

Any help would be much appreciated. You can contact me at ...................

And...

on a side note.

The Marlboro man is a bit outdated. We're looking for an icon that is "new" and "hip" to appeal to a younger demographic. If you have any ideas please feel free to contact us. thank you.
