    Moving indoors?

What do you think about artists moving from the street environment into gallery spaces and legal sites. Is it diluting the scene or are we just moving forward?

My thought on it is if these artists established themselves on the streets before they went mainstream or whatnot then its all good. But if they were never down and when they hit the galleries and try to front as if they were, then thats a problem.

i've seen some amazing stuff on canvas, being sold at different galleries and shops, but theres nothing i love more than seeing it in the street. i paint canvas from time to time, but its not as fun as streets. my opinion is that canvas is cool, as long as you're still, painting the streets, or at least used to. i dont think its cool people coming in doing canvas work and getting rich from this scene without ever actually being a part of it.
